We are pleased to confirm that Madam Magpie Vintage will be running a stall at The Oxford Vintage Fair on Sunday 9^th June from 12 – 5pm. We will be 1 of 40+ traders selling the best vintage homeware, clothing and accessories your pretty pennies can buy, and there’s also a rumour that there will be cream teas available to purchase on the day. Dreamy.

Magpie Picks!

La La Little Forks

We love these lovely Little Forks. Rather impractical for modern canapés we admit, but oh so pretty and wonderfully kitsch. They come in their original box and look simply divine next to a shiny bowl of silver skin pickles or (if we’re really trying to impress) olives. We recommend a rather strong Tom Collins or two, and your favourite 78. The perfect combination for a fabulous evening at home.

Rupert the Bear Scarf

 

A genuine Rupert the Bear branded item, this jolly wool scarf dates from 1980. It's long enough to be worn by an adult and the perfect excuse to gather some chums for an adventure in Nutwood. Or, you know, your nearest park. It never fails to make us smile! 

This little gem will be available to purchase from us at the Bruce Castle vintage fair on the 13th July. Come and see us!

Madam Magpie Vintage at the Handbags and Gladrags Vintage Fair at the Castle

We are pleased to confirm that Madam Magpie Vintage will be running a stall at the 'Handbags and Gladrags Vintage Fair at the Castle'! There will be a wide range of gorgeous sellers and a vintage cafe in this most unusual of venues, a Grade I listed 16th Century manor house in Haringey, North London. Now that's something to get excited about! A selection of our favourite 'Magpie Picks' will be up on the blog soon, all of which will be available to purchase from us on the day. Fancy.
